Faema’s work has always been aimed at searching for production methods that englobe the safeguarding, protection and improvement of environment quality, human health protection as well as discerning and rational use of natural resources.
With this in mind, Faema would like to inform you that her products comply with European Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS Directive).
This Directive states the prohibition and restriction in the use of certain substances considered dangerous or harmful for the environment in electric and electronic equipment. It forms part of a legal initiative aimed at resolving the problem of the huge quantity of waste generated by obsolete equipment.
The Rohs Directive is taken as a model by countries outside Europe too: one example is the state of California in the USA, which has already adopted the Rohs Directive as a guideline for its legislation that came into force this year.
